These terms cover the use of this website and set out, in plain terms, how our quotes and work operate. They are not the full contract for a job — that is provided with your written quote before any work begins.

Using this website

You are welcome to use this site to learn about what we do and to get in touch. In return, you agree not to misuse it — for example by attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, or use it for anything unlawful. We provide the site "as is": we work to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee it is complete or error-free, and we may change or take down content at any time.

Quotes, estimates & prices

• Any prices, figures or example costs shown on this website are for guidance only and are not an offer.
• A binding price is only the one set out in a written quote we send you after surveying the work.
• Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. If the job changes once we start — for example something unexpected behind a wall — we will stop and talk to you before doing anything that affects the price.
• A contract between us is formed only when you accept our written quote and we confirm the booking.

Our work

We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill, using suitably qualified, F-Gas registered engineers. The full terms for any installation, service or repair — including warranties, payment terms and cancellation rights — are provided with your written quote and job paperwork. Nothing in these website terms removes any rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer law.

Your right to cancel

Where you book work as a consumer away from our premises, you generally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days. Details of how this applies to your job, including any situation where work you have asked us to start sooner may affect that right, are set out in the paperwork we give you before we begin.

Intellectual property

The design, text, logo and layout of this website belong to Moss Air Conditioning, unless stated otherwise. You may view and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our permission.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising purely from your use of this website, such as decisions made solely on general information here rather than on a written quote or professional advice.
