This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on this website. The short version: we don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't try to profile you.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and — on many sites — to track visitors. "Similar technologies" covers things like local storage that work in much the same way.

What we use on this site

Moss Air Conditioning does not set its own tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. We are not running Google Analytics, advertising pixels or marketing trackers. We may use a small number of strictly necessary items purely to keep the site working securely — for example, protecting our contact form from abuse. These do not identify you and are not used for marketing.

Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), because the site could not function properly without them. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner.

Third-party content that may set cookies

A few features on this site load content from other companies. To provide that content, these providers may set their own cookies or receive your IP address. They are:

Map (contact page) — we embed a map from OpenStreetMap to show our service area. It loads only on the Contact page.
Web fonts — the site's typeface is served by Google Fonts.
Photography — some images are delivered by an image hosting service.

These are used to display the site, not to advertise to you. Each provider has its own privacy and cookie policy governing any data they collect.

Managing cookies

You are in full control. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can set most browsers to warn you before accepting one. Doing so may affect how some embedded content (like the map) behaves, but the core of the site will still work. Guides for the common browsers:

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use cookies — for instance if we add analytics in future — we will update this page and the "last updated" date, and put a consent banner in place where the law requires it.
