Our story
How this started
Our engineers spent years fitting air con for bigger firms. Good work, but you were a number on a schedule, and so was the customer. Rushed surveys. Whoever was free that day turned up. The company that quoted was never the one holding the drill.
So in 2021 we started Moss Air Conditioning to do it differently. The rule was simple. Only take on what we can do properly. That keeps the quality up and the excuses down. If we are booked out, we tell you a real date instead of promising tomorrow and letting you down.
Most of our work comes from customers telling a friend. That is the whole plan. Do a tidy job, pick up the phone, and let the work do the advertising.
How we work
Four rules we don't break
We do not oversell
If a fan and an open window would sort your problem, we will say so. We would rather lose the job than fit you a unit you did not need.
We tidy up
Dust sheets down, one hole drilled, mess taken away. You should not be able to tell we were there apart from the new unit on the wall.
We answer the phone
The number on this site reaches an engineer, not a call centre. Ring it and a real engineer picks up, or rings you back the same day.
Boring but important
The paperwork that means you are covered if anything ever goes wrong.
- F-Gas registered Legally required to handle refrigerant. Plenty of cheaper fitters are not.
- Public liability insured Cover to £2m while we are working in your home.
- Manufacturer trained On the units we install, so your warranties stay valid.
- Waste carrier registered Old units and refrigerant taken away and disposed of properly.
